Hi, well my problem is not a problem, but I just want to make sure. Ok, I have a Domino Server 5.0.4a, and I am using the Domino Administrator & Designer & Notes client 5.0.8. I am connecting to the Domino server using the TCP/IP port using the IP address that is exposed to the Internet. There is no firewall on the Notes Server.
The problem is when I am working on a Database and I want to save my work, the console on my Domino Administrator just disconnects. In as well as when I want to send mail from the client, also my domino administrator console disconnects giving " no imidiate response" on my console. Regarding my ACL, it is manager for almost everything.
I have noticed this issue when I upgraded my Administrator and Designer & Notes Client to 5.0.8 from 5.0.3. I am not sure if it is a backward compatibility issue or something I am just missing.
I haven't seen this problem, and I certainly am not having it myself. What happens after you lose contact? Can you get back to the server, or do you have to reboot? Is the server still pingable?
