Drive mappings

We are running Domino 4.6.5 on NT 4.0 SP5. We have an agent that requires access to files on another system. This access is provided by a drive mapping, t: drive.

The Domino server is a service and if the NT server is restarted then t: is not available, hence the agent fails. Once Adminstrator logs in the drive mapping is reconnected but the drive is still not available.

Issuing "show stat disk" registers the fact there is a remote drive t: but size and free are both zero. The problem can be fixed when I now restart the Domino server while t: exists. Is there any way to pick up the existance of a new drive mapping in Domino without restarting the Domino server?

Thanks in advance.
Try creating a program document on the server which runs every 5 minutes. Have the program document run a batch file which will check if the drive exists. If it doesnt, the batch file will create the connection.

Hope that works.
