I have a lookup to a staff database. When I choose a staff, it populates some fields on my document. My problem is: I have 2 fields that I need to be editable, "Phone" and "email". Now every time I choose a different person, it updates the computed fields but not the editable ones. What is the easiest way to get them to update?
You'll need to script that portion that that sets the editable fields, either using the formula language or LotusScript. You might just add a hidden computed field that gets the phone and email values from the lookup and then uses the @SetField function to set the fields on the form.
