Embedded view element that displays a categorized view

I'm developing a web based application. I want to make a link to my individual document from another document that displays all the documents by category.
I'm guessing that when you say, "document that displays all the documents by category" what you mean is that you have a form with a view element embedded in it that displays a categorized view. If that is the case, you can simply populate your view (that is being squeezed into the form) with links. They can be any of the supported Domino URL Commands (retrieving by view and key, or by UNID, etc.). Look in the Domino Designer Help database under URL Commands. This is the title of a help document that I think might be useful to you, "URL commands for opening documents by key? Once you understand what the URL commands look like, just create a formula in your view column that will display the command. Squeeze that into the form for display via a browser and everything should be groovy.
