I have developed a Notes Domino Web-based database and would like to enable my users to export views. I have created an agent to do the export and this works fine when used from Notes client. I have added an action to the view and used the @command(ToolsRunMacro) pointing to the agent. But nothing seems to happen -- i.e., the agent is not run. Do you have any ideas? We are currently using Notes/Domino 5.0.3.
Your agent is most likely in LotusScript, which cannot run on a browser. The best solution to this type of issue is to have the agent create the file (export or report) and then attach it to a new document you then point the user to. This document can be set to be purged in a day or two.
