Exporting data from one database to another

I would like to summarize data and export data from one database to a completely different one. The data comprises of figures that are summed according to a client's job number. So, all the documents for a particular client are summed in one database and then transported to appear on one document in the import database. This is done every month. How can this be done?
This is fairly easy, you can write a scheduled LotusScript or Java agent to accomplish this task. In particular, study the NotesDatabase, NotesView and NotesDocument classes in the help.
