I'm trying to copy a database from the development server to the production server and I got this error message when trying to open the application from the Web browser: "HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes Exception -- The Address Book does not contain a cross certificate capable of validating the public key."
I tried to sign the DB with the production server's ID, and the process was successful with no errors. However, I still got the same error. Did I miss anything in the process? How can I work around this problem? Thank you.
Did you use any reader fields or encrypted fields? Perhaps those have old development information in them. You should make a template from the database in development and then sign that template with the production ID. From there, create a new database from that template in production. That is a better method for moving databases into production.
