I have a Notes database that I have turned into a Web site. The default for this Web site is a form that I refer to as the "login" form. Right now, I have this form set up so that the users enter their e-mail addresses and then we check to see if they have registered. If they have registered, it does a @command openurl -- . However, I can't get the e-mail addresses to inherit with the rest of this. I want to be able to have the e-mail addresses inherit onto the next page from the login page. I've tried using a cookie, and other things, and nothing works. Can you help me with this?
I need more details to help you. One piece of advice though: If we are talking about a proper Domino login here, where the user authenticates through a Domino directory, do not let users have Internet format e-mail addresses as their usernames. It will not work as expected. Group memberships will not be calculated properly.
