HTML mail with Notes problems

When my users receive HTML mail my Notes mail doesn't show it correctly. My mail server is Domino 5.0.9a. Is there some definition missing or is it not possible to view HTML doc. with Notes client??
The problem is that the mail message is being converted from MIME to rich text. This could be due to one of 4 things. The question is where is the message being converted?

1. The person document for the user must have the "Format Preference for Incoming Mail" set to something other than "Prefers Notes Rich Text". If these are Notes users, set it to "No Preference."
2. All servers within the domain that the mail message touches must be R5 servers, and the client reading the mail message must be R5.
3. You cannot have an R4 SMTP MTA receiving the mail message.
4. If you have anti-virus software, check with the vendor to ensure you have a version that supports R5.

To check where the message is being converted, look at the document properties of a converted e-mail and check the contents of the field $MIMETrack. This should tell you where the message is being converted
