We have administrative assistants that read, delete and reply to executive e-mails. The problem is that the unread marks do not show on the executives' mail, causing confusion and double work for the admin assistant. Is there any way that you know of that will enable the admin assistants to actually work in the exec's database so the unread marks correctly reflect the work she has done? The admin assistant has the exec's password and permission has been granted via ACL's to his database. I was thinking about parameters to pass via the Notes shortcut that would actually launch Notes and open his database. Is something like this possible? I am really stuck. Appreciate any ideas or responses back.
Unread marks are based on the user ID and the database, so unless you have the assistant switch IDs to the executive, you will continue to have this issue.
