Is it possible to copy a file attachment to an RTF without file I/O?

Is it possible to copy a file attachment (uploaded by file upload control on a Web browser) to a Rich Text field without file I/O?

I was using the following code earlier:

"--Set rtitem = New NotesRichTextItem
( memo, "Body" )
--Set object = Curdoc.GetAttachment( strvar$ )
'Extract to C:Temp from web doc and
create the attachment back to doc
--Call object.ExtractFile ( "c:Temp" &strvar$)
--Set o = rtitem.EmbedObject ( EMBED_ATTACHMENT,
 "", "c:Temp"&Strvar$)"
but it seems that I do not have access on the server to run a unrestricted agent. Can the same be accomplished without File I/O?
Your best bet is to have the background agent signed with an ID that will allow it to execute the file commands. Your code uses a file object, but the other option is to use a OLE object. It is very unlikely that you will be able to have the applications needed for this available on the server. The file option requires no other software, just the correct permissions. In addition, you should add a line of code to delete the file from the server.
