Is there a way so that a "delete" button on a form can be hidden?

Is there a way so that a "delete" button on a form can be hidden if the user can not delete that specific document. I want the button hidden if the user is author with delete in the acl, but did not create the document. I can probably check the acl for author and delete and then check the document authors, is there a better/easier way?

The best way would be to assign a role for the "Author with Delete" type folks. That way you could use the following Hide/When formula... @If( !@Contains( @UserRoles ; "AuthDelete" ) & !@Contains( @Author ; @UserName ) );

You obviously would have to format the names in your Author field(s) the same way you are checking with @UserName. (i.e. if you abbreviate the names in Author field, you would compare it to @Name([ABBREVIATE]; @UserName) )
