Issues when designing Notes database using Designer 5 on an R6 server

I am designing a Notes database using Domino Designer R5. This database is parked in the data directory on a Domino R6 server. If I deploy this database to my customer's R5 Domino server, will there be any technical issues?
When a database is created on the Domino 6 server, it's generally stored in the Domino 6 file format. That means you can't do an "operating system" copy of the file onto disk and give it to your customer -- Domino 5 will not know how to use the file. You must either create a new local copy or replica on your Notes 5 client -- which will automatically be in the Notes 5 format -- or use Domino Administrator to compact the server file into R5 format.

Outside of copying the database through the operating system, there should be no issues. The design of the database will be R5.

You can also go to the compact database option in the R6 Admin Client and revert the database design to R5
