Java needed?

Hi Dan, I am a PLCP Developer and PCPL Administrator with almost 4 years of Notes expierience primarily as Developer (also Web). I'm only now getting into JavaScript and have no Java knowledge. I can script to an extent but have never been a real Guru in that area. I will be relocating to Toronto soon. Is there a market for individuals with my Notes qualifications or is it becoming very specialized where Java and Lotus Script etc are heavy requirements. I consider myself more of a Notes "all-rounder".
There is still a market for an "all-arounder", but it is shrinking and doesn't pay as well as specialists. With more applications being web-enabled, JavaScript is becoming more important. I would take a course in LotusScript or JavaScript, it will increase both the chances of you getting a job and the money that will be offered.
