I am hoping to be able to launch a file using Lotus Script.
I have not been able to discover a means to Copy a file to another location using @Formula language. I can in script using Filecopy. The difficulty I am having is launching the file subsequently so that all the actions are transparent to end user and does not require the clicking of another button/hotspot.
The logic behind my endeavor is that the files being accessed should not be altered. Hence using script i can copy to another location, and set file attributes, etc.
You may be able to use the shell command to shell out to the operating system. You will probably have to determine the file type and the program to invoke to run the file.
