Multilingual application

I am currently involved in developing a muli lingual application. i need to give the user an option of selecting their language and based on the user's selection i need to display the form in that particular language. How do I do this. Say for Example there are 8 languages, do I need to create 8 different forms one for each language or just one form in english would do and domino will take care of translating it other language.
Notes/Domino will handle character translation, but as languages do not translate directly, like words in a dictionary, it will be necessary for you to create different design elements for each language. You can do it all on one form, using hide-when formulas or dynamic field labels (i.e. computed fields that show your labels) -OR- you could create separate forms and use either some type of environment variable or other mechanism to launch the correct form. If everything is configured correctly with your clients, they will properly render the character set for you.
