Name change and the user didn't get an e-mail to accept?

I have performed a name change for a user. The Adminp processed the request and the new name appears in the Notes address book. However, the user NEVER received an e-mail to accept the new name and the user's mail db is still showing the old new. Can you please advise me how to resolve this?
The user shouldn't get an e-mail. The AdminP rename process requires that users physically connect to the server to be prompted to accept the name change. Once they accept that new name, AdminP will change all ACLs, groups, reader fields (if enabled), etc.
