Names not showing up in address book

I have created the person documents and registered them and created ID's detaching with .id extension but i could not see the names in my address book when i am trying to give accesslevels or while sending mails.I can see the person documents in address book. What may be the problem,Is their any solution to find out.
If you created the people on an administration server, it may take time for those names to replicate to your home server if you have a hub spoke environment. The names don't show up until the names have replicated to your home server.
