We recently upgraded to Domino 6.5.2 -- now our Notes clients can't view attachments. All clients were upgraded as well. Do you know why this might be happening?
I did a scan of relevant discussion boards and did not find anything directly related to this. Here is a way to start though... See if you can isolate where the problem is. Can you see the attachment from iNotes/Webmail? If so, the attachment is present, but Notes won't display it. Can Notes see an attachment that YOU create, but not ones you receive? This kind of research should help you clarify the problem. Also, you did not state what the error message is. That can help too.
