I want to know if you have some tips in an environment with:
- Four Servers migrated from 4.63 to 5.06a
- Clients are still 4.63
When the user sends a (SMTP) message via Client 4, the sender address does not follow any rule configured in Server 5 (Global Domain, Internet Address or Short name field, Configuration Document). I have already tried to change many settings but there were no modifications in sender address. When I send a message via Client 5 the sender address is ok (R5 clients has in location document the field Internet Address).
I don't remember seeing this as a problem before but I always try to get my migrations finished ASAP. This could be one of the co-existence problems. All I can suggest is getting your clients to R5 as quickly as humanly possible.
