Preventing local copy of database

How can I control it so that a user can not make a replica copy or a new copy of a database to his / her local HD? He/she must have editor access to the DB.

This topic has been discussed quite a bit on Notes.Net. The short answer is NO. If you give users the right to read (or edit) a database, then they can make a local copy of it. Please see this discussion thread on Notes.Net for some ideas that partially help solve your problem. Be aware however, that there is no perfect solution.
