I would very much appreciate your help if you could help me with this problem. I am having trouble sending external mails using Notes. They are being routed to a dedicated SMTP server.
We are using Domino R5.0.9a in clusters. I installed another server in the same NNN and only for SMTP mail routing: mails going and coming in from Internet). We are able to receive mails through this SMTP server and those that are routed to a desired mail server without a problem. But, when I try to send mail to the Internet I am receiving an error message suggesting that no route found a check connection document in the address book. Do I have to create this connection document?
Check to be sure that the following are true for the new SMTP server:
1. In the basics tab of the server document, SMTP mail routing is enabled in the Routing tasks field
2. There is a server configuration document for this server that has the field "SMTP used when sending messages outside of the local internet domain" enabled in the Rotuer/SMTP basics tab.
