How can I put a universal document ID in a field when using iNotes client on Domino 5.0.11?
If you want to display the document ID or make it available as a field for other processing, create a field with the formula @Text(@DocumentUniqueID). This would make it available as part of the document object.
However, you must remember that a document does not have a document ID until it is saved. So if you are composing a document, you will not have a document ID until it is saved.
