Yes, I agree with you that it would be nice if the product groups could be more in sync. Unfortunately, I don't believe this will get much better in the near term. The development of QuickPlace will continue to lag on base server support. The answer IBM gives, and I would also recommend, is to run the QP server on a separate Domino server. Your license for QuickPlace allows this. Keep your mail/app Domino 6 production server up-to-date with the MRs and add the QP 3.0 server on a 5.0.11 instance. The Domino 6 address book will work fine across both servers.
