Q

R4 Domino Applications Administration exam

I am currently a CLP in R4 and took the R5 Upgrade Quick Path exam. I need to take only the R4 Domino Applications Administration exam to become PCLP in R4 and CLP in R5. With the rumor of R4 support going away, do you know how long this exam will continue to be offered?

Lotus have recently removed support for the releases of Notes/Domino prior to R4.6. This does not mean that R4 support will be removed entirely in the near future. The latest incarnation of R4 (4.6) was introduced in September 1997 and represented a significant upgrade over the previous major release of Domino (4.5) which was released in December of 1996.

The DAA Exam specifically applies to version 4.6, which is supported and for the foreseeable future will continue to be available. Even so, I would suggest that you take the exam as soon as you are ready, rather than putting it off for a later date.
