Q

RAD tools for Domino

Which RAD tools do you recommend for use with Lotus Domino?
Lotus Domino is a RAD tool. I've never seen a need to use other software when developing Domino apps. I use whiteboard, paper, pencil, scissors. There's a lot of value in sitting down with the customer and sketching things, doing paper cutouts so you can move things around and so on, before really starting to design anything. You show people slick computer models or a prototype too early, they'll think you've put a lot of work into it and are afraid to ask for changes.

Testing tools are a good thing to have, however. Rational has a very good test environment that can be used with Domino.

And I also recommend the TeamStudio suite for Notes. These are very useful tools for any Notes developer.
