Replacing personal address book when adding Notes clients

Recently we had a desktop refresh from Windows 2000/NT to Windows XP Professional. Now, users have Lotus Notes v5.0.12 client on their PC. Two files were copied over (i.e., names.nsf and ID file). Because users did not want to lose all their contacts from their personal address book, the design is still R4. How can I create a formula, send it to users, have them click on the action button and automatically replace the personal address book? I appreciate your advice and assistance.
There's no easy way to do it with the built-in functions of the Notes programming interfaces available thru Domino Designer. It's not difficult to do with the Notes API, however, and you can call the necessary API functions from LotusScript. Credit goes to Ben Poole for this script.
