Replication settings

Using LotusScript, I have been able to use the db.ReplicationInfo to change the replication settings such as rep.Abstract = true (Setting truncation/40kb of rich text). The problem is the settings do not take effect if the replica exists on the Replicator Page. Once the replica is deleted from the Replicator Page, and readded, the settings then take effect. Is there a way to make the replication settings take effect? There does not seem to be a way to remove the db icon from the workspace with Script in order to follow with ws.AddDatabase which would do it. Any ideas?
Try creating two agents. One agent, written with LS that will change your replication settings and another agent written with simple @Commands to remove and add the database icon. Write a third agent with two @Command ([ToolsRunMacro]) functions that call the other two agents as you like. Hopefully this will solve your problem.
