Search for text in HTML files with FTSearch

I want to implement a search for text stored in html files using FTSearch. I thought of one method as storing html files as attachments in notes docs in a notes databases and then FT Index the database using "Index attachments", method. I then intend to use FTSearch method of LS to search in the notesdatabase for text in html files.
Can you suggest a better and faster method?
If you intend to use an .nsf file as repository for the HTML files, which seems like a perfectly good idea to me, this approach is probably the best. If you could get by with just storing the files in the file system, you might use the Domain Search. If it were me, I'd probably just go with the attached files for convenience sake.
