Server.id denied access to nsf

1. In Domino 4.6.7, why would server.id be denied access to nsf when it clearly appears in ACL and id has NOT expired?

2. Is there any way to reset the "not valid before" date when recertifying a server.id?

1. If "enforce a consistant acl" is turned on, the server will not be able to get to the database as long as you are attempting to open it locally. Make the server client try to access the database by putting the server name in the open dialog box instead of using local.

2. This is a mystery to me as well.
