Show only docs related to one team in a view

I am developing an application for 4 different teams. All 4 teams have requirements for the same 10 views with one exception. They only want to see documents related to their team in the view. What is the best ways to accomplish this without having to develop and maintain 40 different views? I thought I might be able to use a profile document but cannot figure out how to call the team variable for the user so I can use it in the view selection formulas.
There are only two ways really to achieve this. Because view indexing happens on the server, you can create "Shared, Private on first use" views and use @UserRoles in the view selection formula (You will have to add 40 roles to your ACL that define your teams. Another way is to use those 40 roles in Reader Names fields. The view indexer will index for the current user only the documents he/she has access to view. If you plan on using local replicas, you will have to enable "Enforce consistent ACL across all replicas of this database". Go to the Domino help file for instructions on creating Reader Names fields.
