Don't forget that LotusScript is just a variant of Visual Basic ? If you know either of these, you know both.
Listening to what the customer REALLY wants is the skill that developers often do not work on improving. Even though it?s probably the most important skill.
Actually the most important tool would be the web. Places like www.notes.net (Gold forum, Iris today, Sandbox) and www.codestore.net are invaluable stores of example code and real-life experience.
