Sort Web search results by a specified date field?

Is it possible to sort Web search results in descending order by a specified date field in the document set within those results? Field: (IssueDate)
There's no URL argument to the search that will do this sorting given a field name, but if you read about "Customizing search forms" in the Domino Designer help, you'll see there's an argument to sort the entries in view order. You just have to design a view that's sorted the way you want, and do the search in that view.
