TCP/IP protocol stack running out of memory on laptop

I have a user running Notes Client 4.5.2 on a Windows 95 Laptop connecting via LAN with 64 MB RAM. She receives the following error:

"The TCP/IP protocol stack reported that it ran out of memory. Consult your network documentation to increase configured memory, or reduce Notes connections by limiting clients (use SERVER_MAXSESSIONS parameter in Notes Admin Guide)."

We are running 4.5.2 server on a Windows NT 4.0 platform, and in checking our notes.ini file, the parameter SERVER_MAXSESSIONS = 30. I increased the number to 100 but it returns to 30.

What can I do to solve this challenge?

I haven't dealt with 4.5 in more than 3 years. The memory limitations of 4.5 were substantial. You really should look into moving to R5. That is your only long-term solution.
