I have large groups that contain subgroups. I have to manage thousands of users within those groups. I want to know if there is an effective tool to compare a single [or list of] user[s]to the members within those large groups to make additions and deletions easier to manage? I was thinking about trying to make an application that would automatically open the sub-group documents, extract the names in the membership field, and consolidate them in one document; then use another agent to compare a name and output the name of the subgroup to which that user belongs.
You might want to look at this third-party product. I suspect there are others also....
