There is a document with a few fields, when this form is sent to the dept manager, he/she is suppose to approve or reject (with actions). After clicking the action, will update a "status" field. Then when go to view, nobody is able to edit the document, only the domino manager.
If all are given Editor ACL, is this possible?
If you are trying to completely restrict edit access of the entire document, then the answer is No. If you are trying to manipulate sections in the document, then yes, you can use Editor ACL Access and roles/groups in your Access Controlled Sections to define editor access for those sections where you need to limit access. If you are trying to completely restrict the entire document, you should give your users Author Access to the database (Via Roles: important) and populate an Author Names field on the document with the appropriate names of roles based on what the "status" of the document is.
