Q

Update values when a checkbox is selected

I want to add a checkbox to a view where when a checkbox is selected relevant to a certain document, certain code will run to update some values in this document.

If you have one of the newer versions of Domino (I'm running R5.08), you'll find that you can do this with a view now. Open the view properties box and check the "Web access" options on the 5th tab and enable the "Allow selection of documents" feature, which will add a checkbox for each document in the view. IN older versions, you can add HTML to the view to accomplish the same objective. Once the checkboxes have been added you can use Javascript for client side processing, or process the data server side.
