Web page accessible form

I am developing an application where some users have to only enter the fields of a form. I was wondering if instead of installing a separate Notes client for each one of them, can I have the form accessible through the Web page where they can view the records they punched like the views in the Notes? I'm wondering your views/suggestions for this.
There are a couple of things you need to consider before making your decision. Do you want to easily format the screen to match the input document that the user's are keying from. If the form is simple, it probably doesn't make much difference. If the form and the layout are complicated, it may be easier to code the UI for Notes. Another consideration is field validation, if your validation is simple you can stick to browser based, but if you are doing a lot of lookups and lookup values may be based on other field values, you may want to use Notes.

How frequent is the data entry? If the users are entering a lot of documents and need to do a lot of review, the Notes interface would be my choice, all other factors being equal. If the need is for only occasional entries, the browser interface is probably the best. Also, consider the licensing involved. How does your company license the use of Notes/Domino? If it is per CPU, then it doesn't make a difference if your users authenticate via a browser or Notes client.

See here for a summary of Domino licensing. Since my environment has Notes clients on all desktops, we would probably go with the client based solution, but you need weigh all the issues to make an informed decision
