We are running a 5.0.4 server with most of the clients still at 4.6.3. When opening some documents using a complex form, users get this error: "Too many concurrent formula evaluations; please retry." The same document can be successfully opened with a 5.0.10 client. What exactly is the R4 limit? Is it much greater in R5? What are the first things you would look for to solve the problem?
There are a number of Technotes on this issue from various hardware and versions of Notes. Visit
IBM's support page and run a search on "Too many concurrent." Unfortunately, if you have a lot of large documents, the best solution is to quickly upgrade the client software.
