Chordiant Software has released its Chordiant Knowledge

System v2.0. An advanced knowledge management system, the new product module allows companies to act on the wealth of rich information gathered froma variety of sources, including Web sites, customer interactions, product sources and customer service representatives. Chordiant, Cupertino, Calif., also has unveiled the immediate availability of Chordiant Automated Response and Chordiant Assisted Response, enabled by its unified knowledge management system. The system along with the existing Chordiant Unified CRM Solution, allows companies to provide highly customized responses to inquiries based on a combination of knowledge and information unique to individual customers.


New Lotus Domino server utilities available

Akornn Inc., Marlborough, Mass., has introduced a suite of Lotus Domino server utilities. Akornn's Domino utilities named Server Commandos, offers Domino administrators the ability to manage Notes databases from the server's console without the need of a Notes client. These utilities can be executed on S/390, AS/400, AIX, or Windows servers. There are four utilities that make up the suite. The Akornn Server Commandos gives the administrator the ability to remove old documents, change the access control list, copy or move database to other Domino servers. These four utilities are ACLmaster, COPY for Domino Purge for Domino, and DIRectory.


SkillSoft joins certification program

SkillSoft Corp., Nashua, N.H., a provider of critical business skills training for e-learning solutions, has joined the Pathlore Content Partner Network. Membership in the certification program ensures that companies can instantly deliver, track, manage and report any of SkillSoft's 375 on-line courses using Pathlore Learning Management System. SkillSoft is a founding member of the Pathlore Content Partner Network. SkillSoft provides business and professional development training to hundreds of organizations which have incorporated e-learning into their training initiatives.


New document management software introduced

Oce, a digital document management technology provider, has introduced Oce Find Logic document management software. Oce's Find Logic provides a way to index, search, share and reproduce documents. With Oce Find Logic software, documents can be retrieved based on their content so users do not have to organize their paper-based documents prior to archiving. The software's automated system eliminates the lengthy tasks of manual organizing, structuring, and searching digital and hard copy files. Instead, it automatically turns the files into a single, easy-to-manage searchable archive that can be accessed from any location, even through the Internet. North American headquarters of Netherlands-based OCE are in Chicago.


Companies team up on document management

Firstlogic, Inc., a provider of enterprise data quality and mail preparation solutions, and Document Sciences, an eCRM fulfillment and content automation software solutions company have joined up to deliver an integrated solution that enables rapid application development of automated documents, with customer data quality services and extensive postal sorting capabilities. The technology partnership will enhance customer relationships and retention for insurers, financial organizations, print service bureaus, and other customers by enabling accurate and timely customer-centric information and communications, said Firstlogic, La Crosse, Wis., and Document Sciences, Carlsbad, Calif.
