Transend releases new cc:Mail migration tool

Transend Corporation in Dallas has made available ConnectorWare Import Utility 4.2 for cc:Mail to Outlook/Exchange Migration. This new tool is the latest version of the utility for migrating Lotus cc:Mail users to Microsoft Outlook and Exchange. The tool imports cc:Mail Archives, Folders, Bulletin Boards, Address Books and Distribution Lists directly into Outlook/Exchange Folders, reducing the time required to deploy Exchange 2000 and minimizing the risk of lost data, the company said. It supports all versions of Outlook and Exchange, including Outlook 2002 and Exchange 2000.

The Transend tool has been used to migrate more than one million cc:Mail users throughout the world in organizations such as Hewlett Packard, Deloitte & Touche and Amoco. Lotus has announced it will stop support for cc:Mail on Oct. 31, 2001.
