Trying to make the most use of a browser's window real estate? You can move the Java Web Action bar right to the top edge of the browser window (and the left and right edges as well) by using a bit of HTML.
Insert the following code into the "HTML Body Attributes" are in the designer:
"TOPMARGIN=0 MARGINWIDTH=0 MARGINHEIGHT=0"
When used with the Java Action Bar, the small gap at the very top of the browser windows disappears. You can also eliminate the small gap to the left and right by also adding:
to the code. Just remember that the left and right portions of the whole window may be a bit too close (especially with text). If this is the case, use a table (with some cellpadding and/or cellspacing around the page content below the action bar.
(Before thinking about cascaded or drop down items in the action bar: The text size is only set correctly at the top level, the second level is the default size and this doubles the height of the applet.)
