Database opens with tree instead of outline

If your database opens with tree with instead of outline, here's how to fix it.

When a database isn't closed properly, Notes may display a tree with all the views in the database the next time you open the database.

A solution is removing the database from your workspace and opening it again via the file|Database Open menu.

The next solution makes the opening of the database no longer dependent on the parameter "Database properties | Launch | When opened in the Notes client". (This parameter can change to "restore as last viewed by user" when a database hasn't been terminated in a normal way.)

Create a form: "FORMCLOSE"
Put in the QueryOpen event of that form: @Command([FileCloseWindow])

Put in the PostOpen event of the database script

Sub Postopen(Source As NotesUidatabase) Dim workspace As New NotesUiWorkspace Dim uidoc As NotesUiDocument Set uidoc = workspace.EditProfile("FORMCLOSE") uidoc.Close Call workspace.OpenFrameset("Name_Of_Frameset") End Sub

The first 4 lines close the window that opens when the database is opened.

The last line opens the desired frameset in a new window.
