Finding the Last Date of a Month

Since not all the months in the calendar have the same number of days, this tip shows a simple way to find out the last date.

Since not all the months in the calendar have the same number of days, this tip shows a simple way to find out the last date of the current month. This can be adapted to suit any user-specified month too.

The temporary variable FirstDate is easily calculated. This value is used to find the last date by using @Adjust to add a month and subtract a day.

FirstDate:="01/"+@If(@Month(@Now)<10;"0";"")+@Text(@Month(@Now))+"/"+@Text(@Year(@Now)); 

LastDate:=@Text(@Adjust(@TextToTime(FirstDate);0;1;-1;0;0;0))
