To receive your email on a PDA (Blackberry in this case) with the original sender and subject intact (so you can reply) and a copy of the same email in your notes mailfile. No code needed.
Your Notes administrator will need to do the work. (But they are the good guys and gals).
Duplicate your person document in the Domino directory changing the name in the duplicated document from John Doe to _John _Doe and removing all of the short name entries.
Create a group in the Domino directory called EMAIL_John_Doe. Put 2 (or more) names in the group like firstname.lastname@example.org and _John _Doe/Acme
Change the "Forwarding Address" in the Person document in the Domino directory to be the group name you set up, which was EMail_John_Doe in my example.
Now mail sent to John Doe will be forwarded to email@example.com and _John _Doe. Since _John _Doe points to the same mail file as John Doe, the mail is delivered to John. The mail is intact and replicable from either location.
Since Notes substitutes the forwarding address into the To: field when the mail is sent, the group name EMail_Joe_Doe will the be displayed in email headers of recipients. This is why the group name needs to include the user's name.
