Getting mail from multiple POP3 accounts on the same ISP

Thsi tip describes how to recieve POP3 mail from multiple accounts.

You can setup multiple pop3 account for retrieval, but Notes (All versions) won't fetch all mail account if you happen to have twice or more accounts located on the same mail server , here is a trick to lure notes into thinking the pop3 servers are different i.e.: I have 2 pop3 accounts user1 and user2 located on server pop3.example.com, notes won't get mail for user2

To have it work perform the following steps: Setup the first account with user1 and password server pop3.example.com and for the second account use user1 and password but this time instead of stating the server is pop3.example.com use it's IP address (grab it using ping in a DOS box).

This will make notes create another entry in the replication tab, and it will fetch mail from all the account ( You can use your hosts file to create more "false" pop3 server address to handle all accounts for the server.)
