Removing End Of Line Characters

If you have every done an export to 123, Excel, or Text documents, you know
what a pain the End Of Line characters can be. If you haven't, they show up as
boxes. Quite annoying as far as end users are concerned. This function
removes the EOL characters and replaces them with a space.
Function RemoveEOL(itemtext As String) As String

On Error Resume Next

position = Instr(itemtext,Chr(13))
While position <> 0
itemtext = Left$(itemtext,position-1) & " " &
position = Instr(itemtext,Chr(13))
position = Instr(itemtext,Chr(10))
While position <> 0
itemtext = Left$(itemtext,position-1) & " " &
position = Instr(itemtext,Chr(10))

RemoveEOL = itemtext
End Function
