If you select a group as the owner of the Resource Reservation database, the reservation will be mailed to the group; however, when any member of the group attempts to accept or decline, an error is generated and the resource is never approved or declined. See Lotus (IBM) Technote 171109 for clarification. This error is rectified in R6. For R5 users, there is a workaround (see below).
In the Reservation database:
- Create as many roles as there are groups selected in the resource. The roles and group names should match exactly. Remember to give the roles to respective owner groups only.
- Create a role by name "approver" and give this role to all the owner groups.
- Add the following code to the Hide When formula for the accept and decline buttons:

- Go to script library --> Common Library --> add in the following just above the line "NAMECompare = False":
