Scheduled local mail archive from server based mail file

This agent will allow you to schedule an automatic archive of a server based mail file onto a user's workstation.

This agent will allow you to schedule an automatic archive of a server based mail file onto a user's workstation. The problem with scheduling the agent on the server copy of the mail file is that the server cannot access the archive file on the local machine. By creating this agent in the user's personal address book, the agent in the mail file to perform the archive is being called and run on the local machine, thus allowing access to the local archive file. You must first be sure that the user is set up to run scheduled local agents in the user preferences. Create a new agent, schedule it as you desire, and paste in the following script.
Sub Initialize

 Dim session As New NotesSession
 Dim curdb As NotesDatabase
 Set curdb = session.CurrentDatabase
 Dim doc As NotesDocument
 Set doc = curdb.GetProfileDocument("DirectoryProfile")

'By accessing the address book profile document, we can verify the current user is the owner
 If session.Username = doc.Owner(0) Then
  Dim db As NotesDatabase
Set db = New notesdatabase("", "")
  db.openmail
  Dim agent As NotesAgent
  Set agent = db.GetAgent("LocalScheduledArchive")
  Call agent.Run
 End If

End Sub
