Send a link to a folder

Here's a way to email a link to a folder on a network drive. Create a URL link hotspot in the email and enter the path of the folder perfixed by "file://" as in the example below. When the recipient clicks on the link Explorer will open up the folder. Note that this only works if a) the recipient is using IE as their browser and b) the recipient can see the folder you are sending them.
 

file://F:\sharedfoldername
